Minced beef patties infused with zesty lemon, aromatic thyme, and the rich creaminess of feta cheese. These flavourful patties are a mouthwatering blend of juicy beef, bright citrusy notes, and the subtle earthiness of thyme.
Ingredients for 4 servings
Meat patties
- beef mince, chicken mince or quorn mince 600 g
- lemon peel (rivet) 1 tbsp
- feta cheese (where the content of lactose is max 1g/100g) 75 g
- thyme (fresh, finely chopped) 2 tbsp
- salt and pepper
Broccoli
- broccoli (only the bouquets) 400 g
- rapeseed oil
Yoghurt sauce
- lactose-free turkish yoghurt 300 g
- parsley (fresh, finely chopped) 3 tbsp
- mint (fresh, finely chopped) 2 tbsp
- wild garlic 1/2 tsp
- olive oil 2 tbsp
Instructions
- Mix the minced meat with lemon zest, crumbled feta cheese and thyme. Shape into patties, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the broccoli into smaller florets. Heat a pan with canola oil and fry the broccoli over medium heat until it has a nice colour, about 5 minutes. Remove and keep warm.
- Pour a little more rapeseed oil into the pan and fry the steaks over medium heat, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Mix all the ingredients for the yoghurt sauce.
- Serve the steaks with yoghurt sauce and preferably oven-baked potato wedges.
